Kangana Ranaut has been sweating it out to get the curves that she lost out on as she did not take care of her body in the past.

The actress is now more conscious about her sexuality than she was when she joined the industry at the age of 18. "Genetically I've been thin and I did a lot of cardio, which made me lose my curves," Ranaut told DNA after an exercise session at Leena Mogre's Fitness Studio in Bandra. "Then again, when I joined the industry at 18, I did not care much about how my figure was. But now I want to have some curves and so I'm doing some weight training and mixing it with yoga. It's a perfect formula to get a great body."

Ranaut said that when she came into the industry, she was "way too young" and a "tomboy, too". "I used to wear crazy clothes; but now things have changed," she said. "I'm more conscious about my sexuality. My wardrobe has become more feminine. I wear everything from salwar kurtas to jeans to dresses."

Ranaut revealed that this disciplined training regime had helped her put on around 3kg to build a striking, curvaceous figure. "I have put on the much-needed 2-3kg, but I have not done dieting," she said. "I don't want to cut down on food. I don't mind spending some extra time to get into a great shape. I eat throughout the day. I live to eat and I work to eat. When I'm eating, I get transported into another world. I feel spiritual. I'm very energetic and not lazy at all and so I manage to put in more effort and work out to keep myself in shape despite hogging."

Few know that Ranaut is a good cook. In fact, one should check out the grilled chicken made by her. "I like all kinds of food and I love cooking, too," she said. "I made nice kebabs for myself and (lover) Adhyayan (Suman) recently as he is on this crazy salad diet. He loved it. So, I think I can say that I cook pretty well."
